Meet Brett Norell

Candidate for Alderperson - District 9

I am a dedicated husband to Rebecca and father to Brady (22), Keaton (20), Carter (17) and Hannah (11).  In 2015, I was hired by Holy Family Memorial in 2015 as the Chief Financial Officer and my family relocated to Manitowoc in 2016.

After graduating from Marinette High School in 1993, I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Master of Health Administration and Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa.  I have spent 20+ years in healthcare operations and financial leadership roles in the Milwaukee and Manitowoc areas.  Today, I am an independent management & healthcare consultant assisting organizations to better serve their clients, customers and communities.

In addition to my work experience, I give back to my community through volunteering with local organizations.  Today I serve as board chair for CORE Treatment Services, board treasurer for the Capitol Civic Centre and as a board member for the Manitowoc County Chamber of Commerce.

Lastly, I coach youth athletics with the Manitowoc Youth Baseball Association (6th/7th Grade Softball) and am an assistant coach for the Roncalli Varsity football team.
