I strongly believe that an alderperson is elected to advocate for the district’s residents and not simply vote the status quo. I am an independent thinker that understands the role of city government to provide a friendly and safe environment for all residents and businesses. As my values below state, city government must be fiscally disciplined, spending our hard earned tax dollars on necessary services.
As a candidate, I want to hear from the District 9’s residents and business owners. Understanding your beliefs and desires related to city government only improves how I will best serve District 9 on the Common Council.

Why I am running
Leveraging my strong background in finance and leadership, I plan to restore fiscal discipline and improve services to the residents and businesses in District 9 and the broader Manitowoc Community.
Local government has an obligation to maintain the infrastructure (i.e. roads and utilities), provide a safe community through recruitment and retention of police/fire/paramedic staff, and support local businesses by lessening regulations.
As property taxes have continued to rise, I feel the City is not delivering.
